Careers Breakfast

This year’s inaugural Coffee, Croissants and Careers morning at school took place on a crisp and misty November morning.

Some 20 visitors, all graduates of Humanities, Arts or Languages, shared their experiences of studying their chosen subjects at university, and where those choices had taken them.

Students from the Fourth Year to Upper Sixth were presented with a wide variety of career paths, from law to venture finance, broadcast media and publishing to the charity sector and even a zooarchaeologist!

Quite a few of the attendees had spent time working abroad which piqued the interest of many of the students, who, after listening to the introductions, spent time networking with the guests.
