Our Community

Our multifaceted and adaptable community engagement initiatives aim to make a positive impact on the society of which we are an integral part.

From the Nursery through to Sixth Form, we are committed to sharing our time, knowledge and resources and expanding opportunities for others in a multitude of ways.

Throughout the year, you may find Churcher’s pupils building new community paths, Sixth Form students helping in primary schools, musicians performing for residents in nursing homes, CCF cadets leading commemorative services at Remembrance Day parades and a host of other public events.

We also welcome guests into school for activities that include local students joining our CCF, science lessons for the U3A, STEAM events for primary schools, performing arts shows for local residents, and more. Our on-site facilities are used by many sections of the community including our swimming pool which nearby schools make use of as well as our sports hall which hosts many local and charitable evening events.
