13th WUKF European Championships

Year 6 pupil Rosalie and her father Matt Forbes, Head of Sport and Outdoor Learning and Senior Teacher (Operations) at Churcher's College Junior School and Nursery, competed at 13th WUKF European Championships in November 2023.

Taking part in both kata (pattern of movement) and kumite (fighting) it was a busy few days for the duo.

Rosalie put in a fantastic performance, winning a silver medal in individual kata, followed by a bronze medal in individual kumite. Matt Forbes was pleased to win a bronze medal in individual kumite, as well as placing 7^th in individual kata.

Both acknowledge there is still plenty of room for improvement, but they are very happy to be bringing home three medals. A huge well done!
