Joining Nursery and Reception (EYFS)
We believe in a holistic approach to learning and that a relaxed, happy child, who is able to laugh, will learn best. We encourage this from the very first steps of their learning journey in Nursery and Reception, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Places fill quickly at the Junior School & Nursery so early registration is recommended to start your child’s journey here.
The main entry point is at Nursery where we welcome children the term after their third birthday (minimum sessions apply). This ensures a smooth transition into Reception, where they will benefit from establishing routines, meeting teachers and feeling at home in their surroundings, which will lead to an easy start to formal school.
Please get in touch if you are interested in joining Churcher’s College from Reception as places are limited and in high demand.
Whether joining at Nursery or Reception, we will invite your child to a taster session and settling-in sessions to ensure you and your child feel comfortable and familiar with us ahead of starting at school.

Stickman Pre-Schooler Event

Explore our outdoor learning area and Nursery garden during this open event for little ones. Bring your pre-schooler for a fun activity, story time and refreshments.

A morning of Christmas fun for families of children aged 3-7 years!
Children will enjoy plenty of festive delights including arts and crafts, outdoor activities, s'more-making over our real outdoor campfire and enjoy a hot chocolate along with plenty of other tasty refreshments!
