Extra-Curricular
We believe our exciting array of extra-curricular activities allows pupils to explore their interests, discover new passions, make new friends, and experience the joy of learning.
Expanding horizons
Pupils are encouraged to be involved in a wide range of activities and to take risks outside their comfort zone. Starting with our little ones in Nursery, continuing through the school and up to our Sixth Form students, our exciting mix of extra-curricular activities provides something for everyone. We encourage a ‘have a go’ attitude at Churcher’s, actively promoting the immense benefits that come from trying new things.
Building new skills
From building bug hotels and tending to plants for our Nursery children, to jumping into an extensive range of clubs and activities that can be academic or adventurous in both our Junior and Senior schools, we offer an enormous range of opportunities for engagement and growth. Any student wishing to start a club or take up a new interest is always encouraged.
Leadership & Teamwork
Character-building experiences give our children essential life-skills such as leadership and teamwork, problem-solving and creative critical thinking, communication, sociability and loyalty, commitment and integrity, competence, and self-assurance.
Opportunities and Experiences
Churcher’s offers an exceptional range of extra-curricular activities, giving every pupil the chance to discover their strengths, build confidence, and enjoy success beyond the classroom.
“You’ll find every opportunity you could hope for here at Churcher’s, the huge offering in adventure, sport and the arts providing an excellent ballast to all that hard work. Indeed, parents reckon they’ve hit gold.”
