Combining Art, English & History for WW1 Competition

January 24th 2019
Recently all our Third Year Historians entered the school’s “Never such Innocence” competition.
We were inundated by wonderfully empathetic poems and creative art work and it was a struggle to choose our winning entries - in the end we had to ask to Headmaster to make the final call.
Below are our winners: “Remember” by Tom Keohane, “ We are because they were” by Sophie Knowles, Painting by Olivia Cropley, “Lest we Forget” by Maddie Sutcliffe, “Strive to Remember” by Matthew Russell.
Well done to all our entrants!
