A huge well done to a team of six 1st and 2nd Year pupils who came 4th in the ESAA Cross Country Cup Final at The Grammar School at Leeds on Saturday 1 March 2025.

The girls had won the Hampshire round (they had to come top 2 to qualify), and then came third in the South East regional round (they needed to be top 3) to qualify for the 27 team final.

Nationally, 510 schools entered a total of 1855 teams into this year's  ESAA Cross Country Cup. In the Junior Girls' competition, there were 382 teams entered throughout the country - teams of 6 runners meant a minimum of 2292 runners competed in this age group alone.

To come 4th in the country is a quite exceptional achievement – congratulations.
