‘Science Gophers’ Welcome Sheet Primary School Students

On Friday 23 March Churcher’s College 1st year (year 7) ‘Science Gophers’ hosted Sheet Primary School students for an afternoon of science experiments and learning together.   The Churcher’s science club students managed small groups of Year 5 and 6 Sheet Primary pupils to conduct some exciting and fun experiments including:  Bubble Lab, Slime, Cool Sherbet, Walking Rainbow, and Density Detectives.

Mrs Julie Robinson, Headmistress of Sheet Primary School, joined the pupils and said: “The children had a fabulous afternoon and really enjoyed the experiments - they were buzzing about what they had been doing!”
