As part of Churcher's College Community Action Service, we, for the second year running, offered our services to Merritts Meadow, Petersfield, creating a new path as part of their efforts to create a nature reserve in the heart of Petersfield.
Third Year pupils and Lower Sixth students were in action over two days shifting 22 tonnes of soil using shovels and wheelbarrows, covering 75 meters of new path and a topping up of the path we created last year.
We were proud to finish our project this term and the path was kindly opened by Petersfield Town Mayor COL CL Crissey. We are now busy planning new community projects for the coming year.
