The BC K2 50 Challenge

Passion for challenge and adventure go unabated at Churcher's. Over the last few months, students spent many Sundays with training activities for the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race, which was unfortunately cancelled again this year due to Covid-19.

25 pupils got back into training when covid permitted and then completed an in-house event called the BC K2 50 Challenge - 32 miles and 30 portages which made up the full length of Greg Basingstoke canal.

All pairs successfully finished challenge ably supported by parents who ran checkpoints along the canal and staff who supported from towpath. 

A huge well done to all who took part.
