The Art of Generations

If you came along to our A Level and GCSE Art & Design Exhibition earlier in the year, you would have seen this artwork on the front cover, painted by A Level student Emily Langrish.

A true celebration of Langrish family Nelson House members across the generations - one aged 17 and one aged 93 - the painting depicts Emily's grandad Peter Langrish who attended Churcher's College in Nelson House (just like his grandaughter) during the 1920s and '30s.

We are told that Mr Langrish still talks about his school days with very fond memories and the family were very proud that Emily chose him for her A Level coursework.
