The Richard Churcher Foundation exists to continue the culture of philanthropy and community established by our founder, Richard Churcher.
Churcher’s College was established following the original benefaction from Richard Churcher in 1722 to provide an education for ten or twelve local boys from Petersfield in the arts of writing, arithmetic, and navigation. Honouring this legacy, the Richard Churcher Foundation was created to provide transformational bursaries to enable children to benefit from a Churcher’s education. We would like to build this commitment over the coming years.
