Welcome to Churcher's College Nursery
As a mother of three children, with a wealth of primary teaching experience and a passion for Early Years Education, I am thrilled to be heading up the Nursery and would love to welcome your child into our caring Churcher’s family.
I have relished the opportunity to set up the sort of nursery I would have wanted my own children to attend.
My training at The Froebel Institute of Education in London instilled in me a love of working with very young children whose capacity for learning, love of life and new experiences provides the cornerstone of their future education.
We believe in a holistic approach - getting the children’s attitude to learning right at this age means that they are set up for the school journey ahead.
A relaxed, happy child, who is able to laugh, will learn best.
Like Froebel, we believe that a child’s natural love of play and exploration, together with giving young children a rich and varied environment, is the primary mode for learning, enabling them to blossom and grow into creative, free-thinking individuals.
At Churcher’s College Nursery we aim to give the children not only a caring and nurturing space in which to ‘be’, but also an exciting and creative learning environment both indoors and outside to ‘become’.
