Teamwork is Cool

Team Building Afternoon to welcome our new pupils into Year 3 and help foster friendships.

“Teamwork is Cool” was the main message the children took from Churcher’s College Junior School’s Team Building Afternoon, on Friday 6th September.

The pupils all made a very positive start to their year in Class 3 and enjoyed a variety of team activities including orienteering, a team assault course and problem solving challenges. They were then joined by their parents for delicious cakes and tea - always a highlight and this year the standard was especially high.

Mr Forbes (Head of Sport and Outdoor Learning), who organised the activities said; “the main point of the event was to build friendships between the children and parents as they join the Churcher’s community.”.

All in all it was a great opportunity for children, staff and parents to get to know each other and build friendships which will see them through their time at Churcher's College Junior School.
