Big Topics Explored at Model United Nations Event

On Saturday 25 February 2023 six pupils took part in a Model United Nations (MUN) conference at Guildford High School.

Representing Russia and the United Arab Emirates, a lengthy list of resolutions were formulated and discussed, with topics ranging from the financing of terrorism to over-fishing in our oceans.

The day really highlighted the challenges that the international community faces in tackling world problems and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
