Students Attend Women of the Future Event

On Wednesday 29 January, a group of Lower Sixth girls attended a corporate visit to specialist insurer, Beazley, at their London Head Office in Bishopsgate, hosted by the brilliant organisation, Women of the Future (WoF).  

The girls met students from other schools to learn about Beazley, the areas of risk they cover, and roles within the insurance industry such as work carried out by brokers, underwriters and operations.

Groups then worked with WoF ambassador volunteers from Beazley to discuss the risks associated with a hypothetical case study.

In the afternoon, we were also  treated to a visit to RSA Insurance hosted by Churcher’s parent, Pip where we learned about some of the personal career paths of key female Heads of Department. 

We are incredibly grateful to WoF, Beazley, RSA and Pip; the girls came away excited, enthused and inspired, having learned about the huge and varied world of insurance from an amazing group of women in the industry.
