Pupils Visit Video Game Developer

On Wednesday 24 January 11 students (3 Upper Sixth, 3 Fifth Years and 5 Fourth years) got the chance to visit a Video Games Development company, 22Cans located in Guildford.

The CEO Peter Molyneux is a legend in the games development business and he spoke with them about what it is like to work in the industry. The students were shown around the office and introduced to Designers, Artists, Animators, Coders and the Production manager to get a glimpse of what their job is like.

The students were lucky enough to sit in on a  'Sprint session' run by Peter to give direction to the team for the next 3 weeks in developing their new game. They each came away with a free key to download the Trail game from Steam.

We've also had the offer of work experience for our students. A great afternoon.
