Two Sixth Form Churcher’s College drama students, Alec Murray and Kirsty Foreman, were lucky enough to be chosen to spend three days with Hugh Bonneville and the cast of Shadowlands at Chichester Festival Theatre recently.
This unique opportunity enabled them to see all aspects of an exceptional production in action, including the actors, director and all the backstage crew. Kirsty and Alec saw the technical rehearsal, dress rehearsal and a preview of the show itself.
Stacey Carty, Head of Drama at Churcher’s, said: “Alec and Kirsty are both talented actors who have held leading roles in productions in school and beyond and hope to make a career in drama in the future. This experience provided an inspirational opportunity to glimpse working life in the theatre.”
