Year 6 Pupils Win Performance Poetry Competition

We are delighted to report that Year 6 pupils from the Junior School have won the annual performance poetry competition held at Holme Grange School in Wokingham. They performed a spooky recital of Ian Serraillier's 'The Visitor'.  It was a flawless performance and the children created a spine-chilling atmosphere. 

The judge this year was poet and 'big beard wearer' AF Harrold. We had time to enjoy one of his poems and listen to his funny stories as well as ask him all about writing poetry. As winners we also won a couple of signed copies of his books for the school Library.
