Churcher's College Sixth Former Kirsty Foreman features as a singer in this new anti-bullying video in which 30 children and 7 schools joined together to stand against bullying and shared widely during Anti-Bullying Week 2018.

The video, which was organised by Amesbury School, brought together 30 Children and 7 Schools and features a cover of the song ‘Beautiful’ by Christina Aguilera which was recorded at Amesbury, while the video itself was filmed at the Devil’s Punch Bowl, in Hindhead, Surrey.

The schools involved were:

  • Amesbury
  • The Cowplain School
  • Churcher's College
  • Glebelands
  • Midhurst Rother College
  • Seaford College
  • Woolmer Hill

The video has already gained traction online, with various well-known figures sharing it on social media including Christina Aguilera herself, Jeremy Guscott (England Rugby, BBC Sport), Ugo Monye (England Rugby, BT Sport), Ben Cohen (Rugby World Cup winner and Strictly contestant), and Amanda Holden. It was also featured as the lead news story on Eagle Radio.

Mark Reynolds, Head of Performing Arts at Amesbury School said:

The main purpose of undertaking this project for me was to create a strong message which we could spread far and wide. I knew that involving a number of children from different schools would give the project the meaning that it deserved and the message is simple: if we stand united against bullying then we can make a difference.

Mark also explained that Kirsty stuck out in his mind as she demonstrated great kindness to her fellow performers, helping to keep everyone occupied during waits between takes and they all became close friends.

A huge well done to Kirsty and to everyone who took part.
