Year 3 enjoyed a very busy week last week with lots of hard work to celebrate.
As well as digging Roman roads in various parts of the school as part of history work, they have also been experiencing a different type of maths lesson.
On Monday, everyone was working in a socially distanced way in the studio with Mrs Murphy and the children thoroughly enjoyed learning and trialling the Power Maths scheme. There were some very useful and thought-provoking interactive activities designed to really cement the children’s key maths skills.
National Poetry Day was also celebrated. Working with Simon Mole and the theme ‘Vision’ the children enjoyed playing a ‘This is not a ....' game and used their imaginations to write a poem.
Well done for all your hard work Year 3!
