Year 5 Science Gophers

Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating afternoon of science at the Senior School recently. The Year 7 pupils acted as hosts and took the children through a series of experiments. 

One of the favourite experiments was making teabags fly using a bunsen burner - just like how hot air balloons work! Among the other investigations, the children created rainbows by mixing different densities of coloured solution and made their own slime. The Year 5 pupils would like to thank Mrs Westwood and the Year 7 Gophers for making this such a fun and memorable afternoon!
