STEM Inter-Schools Challenge

On Thursday 10 May Churcher's College hosted the Royal Academy of Engineering STEM Inter-Schools Challenge.

5 Primary Schools and 8 Secondary Schools were invited from the local area, with a total of 140 children involved, to enjoy a day of hands-on team challenges with a robotics theme.

The main activities included

  1. VEX Robot Challenge
  2. Bionic Hand Challenge
  3. MicroBit BattleBots

STEM Challenge

Our Sixth Formers and Digital Leaders were on hand to assist the challengers during a day which as a hive of activity as they put all their energy into preparing their various robotic tasks over the course of the morning ready for the competitions in the afternoon.

Thank you to all the schools and pupils who took part in what was a fun-filled and entertaining day of STEM activities.
