Economics, Business & Politics Students visit Brussels

With Brexit dominating the news there was not better time for 25 A Level Economics, Business and Politics students to visit the heart of the European Union.  The students learning about history, workings and impact of the EU by visiting the EU Parliament, Parliamentarian museum and House of European History. 

 

They also saw the impact of the EU on trade by visiting the Port of Antwerp and the Coca Cola Factory.  In the Coca Cola factory, the students had a guided tour of the production and bottling factories and a talk on the marketing and corporate social responsibility of Coca Cola. 

 

Finally, the students also had the opportunity to visit the Central Bank of Belgium to understand importance of monetary policy and how it has changed with the introduction of the Euro.
