Trip to Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford

On Wednesday 24 January 11 Sixth Form pupils went to visit the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

Here they were given a guided tour of the facilities, exploring the recording studios, control rooms, lecture theatres and teaching rooms. They also had workshops on music recording and production from one of ACM's lecturers.

Our pupils were able to record two songs and then learnt how to use the studio equipment to produce a finished product. You can listen to them both below:
