Water Polo Success

This term has been very successful for the Churcher’s water polo teams.  The U16 team, captained by 5th year Will Hipsey, recorded a brilliant 5-4 win over powerhouses Charterhouse.  They followed this up with a big victory over Basingstoke all in the same day!  The team also participated in its first team triangular against Winchester College with a draw as a result.  These are notable wins as Charterhouse and Winchester were both semi-finalists in the Schools Water Polo Cup.

Churcher’s has been developing water polo over the last three years and now has regular fixtures with 5 teams.  We aim to continue to grow the sport and build on our success.

Training next term will now be on Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes between 12.00 and 1.00pm.
