Summer Solstice Walk
On a beautiful midsummer evening, 65 students set off from Beacon Hill Nature Reserve at dusk to hike 18km through the night to meet the dawn at the top of Butser Hill. At 4.49am precisely the sun appeared over the horizon, the views were dramatic and staggeringly beautiful.
The event was run jointly with the QE Park and raised funds for Home-Start Butser.
