U11s Rugby Team Crowned Champions

The rugby gods blessed our U11 A team with perfect weather when they competed in the Boundary Oak Rugby 7s Tournament recently.

In the qualifying group, Churcher’s won all three of their games, scoring 18 tries and conceding just one!  

The team then progressed to play the winners of the other groups, Oakwood and Farleigh. A hard-fought draw against Farleigh and a show of incredible resilience and determination to come from one try down to win against Oakwood, meant that Churcher’s were crowned the champions of the day!  

Everyone played spectacularly but a special mention goes to Jamie for his attacking play and Oliver W, for his fierce defence. Well done to all involved.
