Izzy Completes Hurricane 80 Challenge

To complete the Hurricane 80 Challenge, Fifth Year Izzy Jupe walked a total of over 80km in 80 days.

The challenge, which Izzy undertook during the coronavirus lockdown, was to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the start of the Battle of Britain and any money raised by participants through either the entry fee or sponsorship goes towards the RAF Museum which tells the story of the RAF and the thousands of service men and women who served in it.

Izzy said:

I went for short walks in the evenings after I finished online school and longer walks on the holidays and weekends. I really enjoyed getting out of the house after being sat inside all day.
