The Eagle has Landed!
The Governors, staff and pupils of Churcher’s College were delighted that Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards could be our Guest of Honour at Speech Day 2019.
Eddie awarded prizes to pupils from across the upper school in every subject and discipline; providing recognition of academic, sporting, performing and creative achievement as well as effort and determination in the pursuit of goals and ambitions.
Eddie’s message that “No matter how many people say you can’t do something, use that as inspiration to prove them wrong”, echoed the philosophy and approach to learning undertaken by Churcher’s pupils and staff alike.
