Language in Action

Sixth Former Carl Flohr and Dr Broomfield gave a German taster lesson to both Year 6 classes in the Junior School on Thursday 4 April. The children learnt about German numbers through scoring goals and colours through eating Haribo sweets.

Teachers and students alike had a lot of fun - thank you to Carl and Dr Broomfield for a innovative approach to language-learning.
