First Year Pupils Assist School in a Bag Charity

School in a Bag send school bags filled with educational resources to vulnerable, disadvantaged and disaster-affected children around the world.

Last week, the charity visited us to deliver our whole school assembly followed by giving our First Year pupils the opportunity to each pack a school bag destined for children in Ukraine. 

Pupils moved in efficient fashion down the assembly line bagging exercise books, stationary, lunchboxes and water bottles making sure to pack them carefully for their future owners. Each bag includes a special number which will ensure it is matched to the correct recipient upon arrival at its destination.

At the end of the day, we were pleased to have a full van of school bags ready to be sent on their way.
