Smart business dress, rather than school uniform, was the order of the day for Third Year pupils who took part in an Enterprise Workshop Day on 20 October, delivered by Portsmouth based Unloc, a leading education non profit organisation which runs programmes for schools, colleges and organisations to help inspire young people.
The pupils were asked to develop a ‘fast fashion’ brand using their entrepreneurial skills, and utilise the online marketing tool Canva to help them develop a 2 minute pitch for their ideas.
At the end of the workshop, the pupils reflected on the day and assessed whether they have developed the core skills (10) that the day intended to deliver. The pupils were enthusiastic, focused and committed to their projects and many included clever environmentally friendly and socially responsible features in their ideas.
