Target Reached for Sarah
Pupils, teachers, staff and parents who have helped raise money for former Churcher's teacher, Laura Hattersley's little girl who was born with a rare brain disorder, have hit their £30,000 target!
Three year old Sarah was born with a rare brain disorder and fundraising has been continuing despite lockdowns, school closures and restrictions on gatherings!
The money raised will see the family travel to a neuromotor research centre in the USA for therapy specifically designed to treat Sarah's condition. Because of COVID19 and restrictions on travel, the family have postponed the therapy until May 2021.
Laura and the family are over the moon that the target has still been met, despite a somewhat difficult year and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined in with events across the year.
