Career Bites Update

It was a busy week for ‘Career Bites’ last week with a talk about Publishing and Editing on Wednesday followed by one on careers in the Police on Thursday.

Freelance Editor and Lecturer in Creative Writing at Winchester University, Mary Chamberlain, presented a brilliant insight in to the world of Editing and Publishing which captured our imaginations – from working with writers to choosing the right paper for a book.

Joe Billyard, an Old Churcherian and Police Officer in the Met Police (pictured above)  also provided a superb insight into his role and the various career options available in the Police.

Our next Career Bite is on Wednesday 27th March by Embryologist Julian Paget who will be running a session about working with test-tube babies.
