Rachel's Performance Diploma Success

In January 2019, Sixth Former Rachel Newberry started working towards her ARSM Performance Diploma in Flute - which she successfully achieved in January 2020 and was formally congratulated by the Headmaster in the first Whole School assembly of the Spring Term.

Rachel says:

I started to play the flute by teaching myself and I began lessons in 2011. I am now working towards my A-level performance and some other pieces that I may get to perform later in the year. I am hoping that I can record some of the flute pieces, along with some singing to create a performance portfolio.

A huge well done to Rachel on this fantastic achievement and we wish her more success in the future.
